Police Make Dash Murder Arrest
Police have charged a man with the murder of Wellington student Gavin Dash.Inquiry head Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Arnerich says the 26 year old man, also from Wellington, was arrested this morning.
He says the man was known to Gavin, and has also been charged with the burglary of Gavin's home.The Victoria University student's room was stripped shortly after he disappeared in September last year.
Detective Senior Sergeant Arnerich says police and Gavin Dash's family are relieved by today's development. However,he says sadly, Gavin's body has still not been found. Detective Senior Sergeant Arnerich says police will continue their search.
